🏀 NBA Round-Up: Bucks Vs Hawks & Suns Vs Clippers🏀
Milwaukee Bucks 115 – 111 Brooklyn Nets
The three-headed monster comprising of Harden, Durant, and Irving only appeared together briefly, the Bucks were able to take advantage. They needed overtime to do it but Giannis and his squad held on for the four-point victory earning a trip to the Eastern Conference Finals. ‘The Greek Freak’ led his team with 40 points in 50 minutes and Khris Middleton added 23. KD led all scorers with 48, he and James Harden did everything they could but it wasn’t enough.
Los Angeles Clippers 114 – 120 Phoenix Suns
Without Kawhi the Clips are in trouble, Phoenix is just too balanced. LA had a chance in game one but let it slip away. Los Angeles was led by Paul George’s 34 and Reggie Jackson stepped up scoring 24. Both men will have to keep that pace up if they want to have a chance in this series. Even without Chris Paul, the Suns looked solid and Devin Booker is elite sheeeesh. The 6’5 Booker torched LA for 40 points, he grabbed 13 boards and dished out 11 dimes. With those assists, Devin was responsible for nearly 62 points of total offense.
Philadelphia 76ers 96 – 103 Atlanta Hawks
It stings to say Atlanta was led by ‘ginger’ Kevin Huerter who’s 27 combined with Trae Young’s 21 proved to be too much for the much much much better 76er’s. Ben Simmons needs to drive the lane, work in the paint, and use his big body to his advantage. If we could have just gotten 4 more buckets out of Ben we would be going to face off against the Bucks, not the Hawks. Philly was led by Joel Embiid who scored 31.
