11 Christians Killed In Nigeria By Islamic State Extremists
The name Boko Haram strikes fear in those living in Nigeria. The Islamic State terrorist group recently changed its name to Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP).
ISWAP just released a video claiming to show 11 Christians being killed in Nigeria.
In late October IS’s leader and spokesman Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi and Abul-Hasan Al-Muhajir were killed in Syria. December 22 nearly two months after IS’s declared to avenge their deaths. Since then the group has claimed a whirlwind of attacks in various countries.
IS says the group of hostages who were all males had been captured over the last few weeks. They were captured in north-eastern Nigeria’s Borno State.
A 56-second clip was released and produced by IS’s own ‘news agency’ Amaq. Analysts say its release was timed with Christmas celebrations.
One of the hostages is seen being shot while the other 10 are pushed to the ground and beheaded.
