2 Teens Shot In Maplewood On A Highschool Athletic Feild

One Student Killed and Another Injured Sunday Night at Underhill Field On The Grounds of Columbia High School In Maplewood

Maplewood, New Jersey: Late Sunday night on the athletic field at Columbia High School in Maplewood two teenagers were shot and one has sadly passed away. The two teens have not been identified, but it has been reported the student killed was 18 years of age. This just makes me sad it happens way too often kids’ hopes, dreams, and aspirations taken away in a second, do people not comprehend how valuable every single life is?

Clinton Elementary School, as well as the surrounding schools, have canceled all outdoor activities for the day as the investigation is still underway. Columbia High School, Maplewood Middle, and Clinton Elementary will offer mental health services for those in need.
