Kabul Airport, Afghanistan: September 11, 2001, will be a day that everyone who’s above the age of 5 will remember, and it’s a day that changed the world we live in forever. 20 years later the Taliban have won, they bombed the twin towers, fought it out with our toughest troops tooth and nail, lost their leader several times, kept fighting, overthrew their own government, and know they have successfully gotten all of the U.S. troops to leave Afghanistan.
The videos show the Taliban leader speaking of peace and unity know that Afghanistan is finally independent. It sounds amazing but only time will tell if the Taliban really plan to do right by their people. The leaders are letting the people know they have nothing to fear under the new government.
