The Streets Of France: Nearly half a million people in France took to the streets and displayed their feelings towards ‘The Green Pass.’ The French government is making it mandatory you are vaccinated to enter certain public spaces like cinemas and museums. With the recent spike in COVID cases, the mandatory’nes will seep into restaurants, bars, hospitals, and trains. So basically we would then be dealing with a two-sided society.
The World Health Organization (WHO?) made it clear that 4 million new cases were reported last week by the end of this wave we could be looking at 200 million.
With the new restrictions set in place the people of France who disagreed flooded to the streets and were met by police. Officers were armed with tear gas and riot gear. Scenes for out there look archaic, thousands of people battling in the streets, smoke from tear gas canisters slithering through the air, screams, and seeing bodies being carried out of harm’s way, makes you take a step back and be like shoot are we really living like this right now.
