60 Million People In Italy Are Locked Down Until April 3rd
For 24 days no one is allowed to travel without proper paperwork. Proven work reasons, health conditions, or other cases of serious necessity will be the only reasons for travel.
Italian Premier Giuseppe Conte has locked down his entire country to help prevent COVID-19 from getting completely out of control.
“Our habbits must be changed, changed now. We all have to give up something for the good of Italy. When I speak of Italy, I speak of our dear ones, of our grandparents and of our parents. We will succed only if we all collaborate and we adapt right away to these more stringent norms.”

As of Monday evening, Italy reported 1,807 new cases. The total number of cases as of now are 9,172 and 463 people have passed away. Italy is the second most affected country behind China and in front of South Korea.
For the majority of the people, COVID-19 symptoms range from mild to moderate. Fever and cough are the most common denominators of the illness. Older adults and people with pre-existing health concerns are the most susceptible and could develop pneumonia.
In China, of the over 80,000 people infected 58,000 have recovered with no more issues after fighting off infection.
