After 11 Days Of Deadly Bombing, A Cease-Fire Was Agreed Upon
Since May 10, 232 Palestinians have been killed, 65 were children, and 1,900 people wounded. On Friday morning Israel and Hamas were finally able to agree on a cease-fire. The decision came 11 days after the worst fighting in decades began.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said his security cabinet voted unanimously in favor of a “mutual and unconditional” Gaza truce, thanks to Egypt who proposed the truce. Hamas said the cease-fire would be “mutual and simultaneous.”
