Coco Gauff Becomes Youngest Woman To Reach The GSQ Since 06′
Roland Garros: Coco Gauff is making headlines once again. This time around at only age 17 Coco has become the youngest player to reach the Grand Slam Quarterfinals since 2006. The 2021 French Open could be Cocos for the taking.
Yesterday the American tennis star took just 53 minutes to dispose of Ons Jabeur in straight sets 6-3, 6-1. The victory leads Gauff to her first-ever grand slam quarterfinal.
“I feel like all my matches have been I don’t know how to say it, but straightforward wins, like no crazy three sets and stuff. As we know, I have had a lot of those in the past. I just feel like this has been the most consistent tennis I have played at this level. Hopefully I can keep that going.”
