Colin Kaepernick Pulls A Fast One On The NFL Changing Location Last Minute
Colin Kaepernick knew the league was trying to paint their narrative of what went on during his last-minute scheduled workout. So Kaep moved the workout to a local high school field, with media present so what you saw was transparent.
First off why would a workout take place 11 weeks into the season? Normally players would have at least a month to prepare for scouts. When Kaepernick switched locations he was making a statement to the NFL letting them know he can’t be controlled. Is that such a bad thing?
Regardless of all the politics behind this situation, lets get back to the matter at hand the workout.
Training Day Kaepernick’s Way
First off if your vying for a job showing off your athletic ability you want to be at ease so your skills can shine.
Colin worked out for 40 minutes throwing passes to free agent receivers Bruce Ellington, Brice Butler, Jordan Veasy and Ari Werts.
From the videos that surfaced he looked good. He was in shape, and showed off a cannon of an arm still.
I’ve been ready for three years, I’ve been denied for three years We are waiting for the 32 owners, 32 teams and Roger Goodell to stop running. Stop running from the truth, stop running from the people.
The NFL’s Reaction
The league claims they sent Kaepernick’s reps a standard liability waiver given to free agents when trying out. On Wednesday the QB’s team sent back an entirely rewritten waiver that was deemed insufficient.
What do you think IMUer’s will Kaepernick be picked up any teams and how do you think he looked throwing the ball? Let us know in the comments section.
