Houston Texas is going through it, Governor Greg Abbott declared the state is in a disaster 13 counties have been affected by Tropical Storm Imelda. Her torrential downpours and severe flash flooding has stranded residents in homes, drivers in their cars and canceled hundreds of flights at local airports.
On Thursday the storm claimed the lives of two people. In Jefferson County a man was electrocuted and drowned, he was trying to save his hoarse. A second man drowned after driving his van into floodwaters and submerged himself. These reports are from the sheriff’s office.
In the month of September in one day Houston broke a rain record with 9 inches of rain in twenty-four hours. Hamshire, Texas in a 48 hour span got 6 months of rain.

The rain is supposed to come to an end by Friday afternoon, could you imagine that much rain, literally to much rain is the reason people lost their lives and peoples homes are destroyed, there is no defending against water when it runs out of space.
