Coronavirus Update: Every Region In China Has Been Infected
The coronavirus outbreak is growing and growing. Tibet just confirmed they have a case on their hands, which now means every single region in China has been infected.
As of January 29, there have been 7,711 confirmed cases around the world. 170 people have passed away from the virus. 6,000 people on a cruise ship are locked down at an Italian port after a husband and wife from China came down with a fever and developed breathing problems.
15 countries in total have reported cases of the coronavirus.
On Thursday The World Health Organization will meet to consider whether the virus should be deemed a global health emergency.
“In the last few days the progress of the virus, especially in some countries, especially human-to-human transmission, worries us. Although the numbers outside China are still relatively small, they hold the potential for a much larger outbreak.”
