Sneaker/Art Community; World Wide: Two things that merge beautifully in the culture are sneakers and art. DC Sneakers are one of favorite sneaker brands of all time they have always made a quality product, and are so comfortable plus a pair will last you for years. Let’s switch gears real quick to hands down my favorite paintbrush yielder of all time Jean-Michel Basquiat.
The DC x Basquiat collection dropped on August 7th. I tried coping the white hightop’s in a 12, SOLD OUT! I had to settle for the slides with the full painting on the souls. The flyest pair drops this Saturday, August 14th. Basquiat had a very unique style and a cult-like following. When Jean-Michel was 21 from 1981-1982 he created some of his most incredible work. In honor of that, the 21 collections will span a two-week drop, featuring 21 of Basquiat’s paintings during that year of his life. Sneakers, slip-on’s, hats, and tees will all be baring Basquiat’s soul on various canvases.
