When money, business, and emotions are mixed the outcome at times can be detrimental.
The Associated Press received a letter on Monday with some disturbing news for football fans. 12 European clubs have formed an alliance and are pursuing the birth of a Super League. The letter addressed to FIFA and UEFA leaders, stated legal action is already being pursued to stop them from action intended to thwart the launch of the breakaway competition.
The Super League says they have a 4 billion euro grant from JP Morgan. Warnings were sent to Barcelona, Juventus, and Manchester United legal action will be taken place against the rebel clubs. They would be banned from playing in domestic competitions such as the Premier League in England or the La Liga in Spain.
