Madison Square Garden, New York: Fat Joe is an icon in the Hip-Hop scene, Crack‘s first time making noise came in 93′ with his solo project “Represent.” Ja Rule emerged on the scene shortly after in 94′ as part of the group ‘Cash Money Click’ that released three singles before they dismantled. In ‘98 Ja wrote the hook for Jay’Z’s hit “Can I get A…” and in ’99 Ja Rule released his debut project “Vinni Vetti Vecci.” Last night the two gentlemen squared off against each other in a Verzuz Battle at MSG and they brought some friends along.
After 30 plus years have passed in the industry the essence of Hip-Hop is finding its way back to the days of battling while fans hang on to every word as they stand shoulder to shoulder in small, hot rooms with no proper ventilation haha, the good ‘ol days.
