Former President Jimmy Carter Hospitalized After Second Fall This Month

Mr. Carter was at home Monday evening in Georgia when he fell and fractured his pelvis. 95-year-old Carter fell earlier this month on October 6 days after celebrating his milestone, Jimmy needed 14 stitches and was sporting a black eye.
That couldn’t stop him as he followed through with plans and attended the opening ceremony in Nashville for Habitat for Humanity with his ride-or-die Rosalynn by his side.
This won’t keep Jimmy down for long either. Deanne Congileo spokesman for the Carter Center described Mr. Carter’s injury as a “minor pelvic fracture.”
The 39th US president is recovering at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center for now until he is well enough to travel and recover in his own home. Our thoughts and prayers at IMU media go out to Mr. Carter and his family, we wish you a healthy, speedy recovery.
