Gunman Kills 5 Then Turns Gun On Self At Molson Coors Campus
The city of Milwaukee in Wisconsin is in shock after an employee at Molson Coors opened fire. A man took the lives of five innocent people before turning the gun on himself. The shooting is one of the worst ever in the history of Wisconsin.
“Miller Valley” is one of the largest breweries and packaging/distribution centers in the nation. Mayor Tom Barrett said this is the saddest day in the 165-year history of the complex.
A 51-year-old man entered the building carrying two handguns and opened fire on employees.
Authorities have not released the names of the victims. There is no clear motive or any specific details as of yet.
“We are family. We work a lot of hours together, so we’re all very sad.”
-Selena Curka
“There were five indivduals who went to work today, just like everybody goes to work, and they thought they were going to go to work, finish their day and return to their families. They didn’t and tragically they never will.”
– Mayor Barret
Our thoughts and prayers here at IMU Media go out to the victim’s family and friends. When we have more details we will update you.
