Addiction can come in all shapes, sizes, even forms but when she sinks her teeth in those involved are in for a bumpy ride. Unfortunately, DMX has struggled with addiction for decades as some great artists often do.
It was first reported by TMZ that the face of the Ruff Riders was fighting for his life after succumbing to a drug overdose. It was late Friday evening, around 11:00 PM when it happened. X was at home, around people thank God, and was able to be rushed to a hospital in White Plains, New York.
Reports from doctors at this moment vary. One report says there is some brain activity while another state’s DMX is in vegetative condition. The HipHop community needs another album from one of our heroes. Keep fighting X you can make it out of this!
