2 An arrow struck a police officer in the calf on Sunday. After some downtime, anti-government protesters and security forces once again began clashing.
Protesters armed themselves with bows and arrows as they were seen patrolling the campus of Polytechnic University. What the protesters want is a greater democracy and for actions by police to be investigated throughly.
Hong Kong recently entered its first recession in a decade and it has the people on edge.
