Madison Square Garden, New York: The energy in ‘The Garden’ last night was unlike anything you’ve ever felt in your life. This one was truly for the culture and man did we get a night that will be remembered by everyone who witnessed this battle forever. Just to give you an idea of the electricity behind this Verzuz when the tickets went on sale they sold out in 15 minutes.
The style, the bars, the laughs, and the insults all made for an incredible evening allowing the greats to be celebrated. IMUer’s the team and I were out there last night and I can tell you the energy outside the garden before was amazing as well. Benny The Butcher, Fat Joe, Conway Tha Machine Timbaland, Fabolous, the list goes on it was a who’s who situation anybody that’s somebody in the industry was in the building last night.
Dipset performed great their show was dope no doubt but The Lox held it down down. They showed us the importance of practice and let us hear how imperative it is to have the DJ and the Emcee on the same page the energy that generates is magical.
Jadakiss hands down won MVP of the night as he held down his beloved New York City spittin superbly when it mattered the most. Did yall get to check the battle who won?
