IMU Exclusive: Terrell “T-Rex” Simon’s Show At Drom Was A Movie

IMU MEDIA’s Night At Drom In NYC
85 Avenue A, New York, NY: Was the place to be the other night if you’re down with good vibes, laughter, soulful voices, RNG (Rhythm & Gospel), beautiful people, and great networking. Drom in NYC opened their doors to Terrell “T-Rex” Simon, they set up a perfect spot to celebrate the release of his debut ‘R&G’ project “The Package.”
DJ Trase was spinning on the one’s ‘n’ two’s and our CEO Jovan Acree was co-hosting as a unit they had the spot jumping. IMU was lucky enough to be in the building as it all unfolded. We were in there filming the performances, chopping it up with the artists on our step and repeat, most importantly we were in their building for the future.

The evenings’ first performer was David Sosa the Queens native was impressive when he started really ‘saaaannnngggin’ it was unexpected. A clean look, fresh style, good personality, and a voice that has a chance to be heard. We will be taking some time out in the near future to chop it up with David and see what he’s got on the horizon.

Next to the stage, we welcomed the talented, good-hearted, songstress hailing from NYC, NeQasia! When Queen stepped on stage it was hers’ she commanded it and looked at home. “Shattered” her debut album is 8 tracks and 26 minutes of love lost, finding yourself, self-love, healing, and moving forward to a brighter future. After I first heard NeQasia sing I needed to hear those vocals in my headphones or driving in the whip. Trust, when I tell you there was no disappointment. What I heard was authentic, heartfelt, fun, with some slight room for tweaking. This young woman is the total package; a great personality, a fitting image, talents that will only increase, distinct confidence, and stunning beauty. Combined, like ‘Voltron’ it’s going to make NeQasia a household name sooner than later. Check out our exclusive footage below and be on the lookout 👀 for a more in-depth interview.
