Iran Fired 22 Missiles At Iraqi Bases Where US Troops Are Stationed
Last night in Iraq, during the early morning hours between 1:45 a.m and 2:45 a.m Iran fired 22 missiles that struck coalition bases.
No one was injured during the attacks on the two military bases. The alarms went off and people had time to escape to a safe distance. After the attack, President Trump took to Twitter and made an announcement.
Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei addressed the nation in a televised address on Wednesday. He took credit and spoke about the attacks saying “Iran gave the US a slap in the face last night.”
The Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps released a statement as well. The attacks on Iraqi bases were ‘hard revenge’ for the killing of Soleimani. They also said any country housing US troops could be subject to ‘hostile and aggressive acts.’ Urging American citizens demand the government
“If you repeat your wickedness or take any additional movements or make additional aggression, we will respond with more painful and crushing responses.”
