K-Pop fans are wearing a heavy heart today. Goo Hara the K-Pop star was found dead at her home in Seoul, South Korea on Sunday she was only 28 years old.
Goo was a member of the Korean girl group KARA from 2008 to 2015. When the group dismantled she embarked on a solo career. Hara has also appeared in a number of films and numerous TV roles.
No official report has surfaced about the K-Pop’s star cause of death. In March Goo did attempt suicide, after her ex-boyfriend threatened to blackmail her with releasing a sex video.
In October one of her closest friends, singer-actress Sulli killed herself, after ruthless cyber-bullying.
Young K-Pop talent has battled with a toxic industry since the late 1990s. The glamours facade of the Popstar is littered with haters and people that step on their human dignity.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to Goo’s family and friends, rest in peace Queen.
