Kansas City Chiefs End Skid But Lose Mahomes

Last nights victory for the Kansas City Chiefs was bittersweet. They ended their two-game losing streak with a dominate 30-6 win over the Denver Broncos, but in the second quarter, they lost franchise Quarterback Patrick Mahomes II on a QB sneak.
On a 4th and 1 play down near Denver’s goal-line Mahomes snuck the ball up the middle and gained the first down. Patrick stayed down on the turf after the play as KC’s medical squad rushed to his aid, what they discovered was gruesome. Mahomes right knee had been dislocated.
Holmes is expected to miss at least 3 weeks of action depending on the severity of the injury and baring the results from an MRI coming later today.
The upside to all of this is that the Chiefs looked impressive again in all facets of the game. Holmes stat line before he exited looked like this; 10 of 11 for 76 yards and 1 TD, veteran QB Matt Moore came in and completed 10 of 19 passes for 117 yards and 1 TD. LeSean “Shady” McCoy had 14 tocheses total 12 carries for 64 yards and 2 receptions for 12 yards. All-Star Wideout Tyreek Hill had 3 catches for 74 yards and a score.
