The Utah Jazz have such a well-balanced attack it’s scary and last night they welcomed Donovan Mitchell back to the lineup. Ja Morant torched the Jazz D he scored 47 and Dillon Brooks added 23 it just wasn’t enough. Utah had 7 players in double figures and all 9 players who touched the ball scored, now that’s a balanced offense. Mitchell led his squad with 25, Mike Conley Jr. added 20 and also dissed out 15 dimes. The Jazz prevailed in game two 141 – 129 evening the series at a game apiece.
New York 101 – 92 Atlanta
The Knicks needed this one. D-Rose played reminiscent of the days he was on those playoff runs with Chicago. A young New York squad needed some veteran leadership. Rose went off last night in 39 minutes of action the savvy vet dropped 26 on the Hawks. Randle and Bullock both added 15. All ten Knick players scored. Atlanta was led by none other than Trae ‘The Truth’ Young who scored 30 in the losing effort. This series is also knotted at a game apiece.
Sixers 120 – 95 Wizards
Philly came out taking charge from the rip going up 35-24 after one-quarter. They kept their foot on the gas and coasted into a 25 point victory. The well-balanced, pesky defensive-minded 76er’s were led by Simmons, and Embiid both scored 22 in an evening both superstars were able to get some rest later on. The Wizards were led by Bradley Beal who dropped 33 in the loss. The Sixers will travel to Washington with a 2 game lead.
