Lakers, Knicks, And Jazz All Fall In Game 1
The Phoenix Suns are a team no one wanted to play in round 1. LeBron’s led Lakers received the honor and basketball fans are getting some really good first-round matchups. Last night the 7th seeded Lake Show rolled into Phoenix to tangle with the Suns. Devin Booker led the way with 34, and center Deandre Ayton added 21. The Lakers had a balanced attack with 6 players in double figures. LeBron James led the way with 18 and Anthony Davis added 13. To have a chance the Lakers are going to have to figure some things out.
Memphis 112 – 109 Utah
Utah came into the playoffs with the best record in the NBA and geared up to contend for the crown. Memphis came out with nothing to lose and was able to steal game 1 from the top seed. Dillon Brooks and Ja Morant led the attack for the Grizz combing for 57. Utah had a very balanced attack with 6 players in double figures, Bojan Bogdanovic led the Jazz with 29.
Atlanta 107 – 105 New York
The New York Knicks are making their first playoff appearance in 8 years and the energy was electric. Trae Young and The Hawks spoiled game one. Young led Atlanta with 32 points and dished out 10 dimes. The Knicks got help from their whole unit, Alec Burks led New York in scoring off the bench with 27. What we saw is that the Knicks have a shot and this should be a fun series to watch.
