On Wednesday the man who allegedly sold Mac Miller pills that led to his accidental overdose was arrested on a federal drug charge. 28 year old Cameron James Pettit is accused of selling counterfeit oxycodone pills that were laced with fentanyl, the life taking opioid is 50 times stronger then heroin.
Mac passed on September 7, 2018 nearly one year ago. He is truly missed by everyone that’s ever listened to his music, he could do it all write, rap, sing, produce, and make us listen. For a solid eight years we heard Mac’s voice swim through our speakers and headphones world wide.
According to federal prosecutors, Pettit met up with Miller in the early morning hours of September 5, 2018. Two days later the 26 year old emcee was found unresponsive at his home in Studio City.
When Pettit found out what happened he allegedly sent a DM on Instagram to his friend saying “Most likely I will die in jail.” “I’m gonna get off the grid move to another country.”
