YouTube has changed the game in various different lanes. People can become famous before even building any kind of catalog or after only a single fight. Floyd Mayweather is undoubtedly one of the best boxers to ever step between the ropes and Logan Paul has 20 million YouTube subscribers.
The two gentlemen agreed to get in the ring for an 8 round boxing exhibition. Paul is an NCAA D1 wrestling champion and has a significant size advantage over Floyd. Money Mayweather is the champ though he’s undefeated so until he gets knocked out he will always be ‘King of the Ring.’
Logan came out swinging and connecting early, Floyd was able to dodge and protect as he does best and with stand the early assault. Floyd looked good but like he said he’s not in his 20’s anymore. Boxing is one the most tolling sports on the body there is and after decades in the ring, Mayweather can still hang with the kids. Logan threw over 200 punches but only connected on 13% of them. Proving to us all Floyd’s footwork and ‘Matrix’ abilities are still on point.
There was a ref but no official judges or scorecards, you could say both men came out of battle as victors. Logan for the fact he was able to go all 8 rounds with a Hall of Famer is impressive Floyd proved he can still take a punch and move around the ring better than anyone. Will we ever see these two men box again? If we do I’m sure it won’t be for a long time, but this was fun to watch.
