Michael Jordan Holds Fishing Tourny In AC
Atlantic City, New Jersey: One of the greatest to ever play the game of basketball has been running around all week in AC and Margate. If I woulda known I’da been down there trying to catch a glimpse of the man, the myth, the legend, that is MJ. Jordan also had a minor stint with the Chicago Whitesox, before returning back to the court. When Mike retired he needed to find something that brought him joy the way basketball had. It must feel like a void in your soul stepping away after so long.
Thankfully Mr. Jordan was able to fall into the world of the Angler AKA the Fisherman. On Wednesday Micheal and Capt. Stetson Turney embarked on a 120-mile journey out to sea on “Catch 23.” The boat left the Frank S. Farley State Marina at the Golden Nugget.
Jordan’s boat is an 80-foot Viking that set him back $8 million. The stage was set perfectly the weather was amazing and the ocean conditions were calm. With all of that in the angler’s favor, former Chicago Bull was able to cash in reeling up a 70-pound White Marlin. IMUer’s check out the video above for a look at Jordan’s annual Big Rock Marlin Tournament.
