MLB PLAYOFF SCORES AND GAME RECAPS

The Cardinals and the Atlanta Braves series is tied at a game a piece today’s game 3 in St. Louis is duel between a young Canadian and a tested veteran. Mike Soroka will take the mound for Atlanta, the Cards are sending future hall of famer Adam Wainwright to the hill. Today’s game starts at 4:10 p.m. on TBS.
Game 2 of todays MLB Playoff double-header is a show down in the nations capital Washington D.C. as the Nationals host the Los Angeles Dodgers in game 3 of the NLDS. The Dodgers are going with lefty Hyun-Jin Ryu who will be opposed by crafty veteran Max Scherzer. Start time is 7:45 and can also be seen on TBS.




In last nights playoff action the Bronx Bombers dominated the AL Central champs defeating Minnesota 8-2. Masahiro Tanaka took to the hill for the Yanks and threw 5 strong innings giving up 1 earned run on 3 hits, a walk and stuck out 7. In the bottom of the third Yankees shortstop Didi Gregorius capped off a 7 run inning with a grand slam. The Twins bullpen was lights out after that, starter Randy Dobnak went 2 innings giving up 4 earned runs on 6 hits and 2 walks. Tyler Duffey followed with 2/3 of an inning allowing 4 runs, coming off a walk and 2 hits one of them being the grand slam. The Yanks are up 2-0, game 3 will be in Minnesota tomorrow night at 8:40 p.m.




The Houston Astros put Tampa Bay on the brink of elimination thanks to a dominating pitcher performance from Gerrit Cole. Cole hurled 7 2/3 innings allowing 0 runs, giving up only 4 hits, walked 1, with 15 strikeouts! 15 of the 23 outs Gerrit recored came via the swing ‘n’ miss or the stare and sit. Rays starter Blake Snell pitched well over his 3 1/3 giving up only 1 run, on 4 hits, and stuck out 5, when your team can only muster up 1 run its tough to win. Game 3 kicks of tomorrow at 1:05 p.m.
