MLB POSTSEASON HEATS UP TONIGHT’S GAME 4 JUSTIN VERLANDER FACES OFF AGAINST DIEGO CASTILLO

Tonight in Tampa Bay at 7:07 the Rays will try and fend off elimination against future Hall of Famer Justin Verlander, Tampa counters with flame thrower Diego Castillo. A seasoned champion vs a 25 year-old kid who can consistently hit 100 mph on the gun in an elimination game, should make for some good reality TV.

The Yankees finished off the Twins last night, Luis Severino got the nod for the Yanks throwing against Jake Odorizzi. New Yorks bats were to much in the end for Minnesota who fell behind early down 2-0 by the third inning. Going into the 8th it was 3-0 when left fielder Eddie Rosario knocked in the Twins only run with a solo shot off Zack Britton, who exited the contest with an injury.
Max Scherzer shut down the Dodgers last night throwing 7 strong innings allowing 1 run on 4 hits, he did walk 3 batters but he struck out 7. Rich Hill lasted only 2 2/3 giving up 4 walks and 2 hits. Game 5 is set for tomorrow night in LA where we will see aces Stephen Strasburg hurling the pill against Walker Buehler another great elimination battle. Game time 8:37 p.m. EST.

Buehler had this to say; “I guess this will be my third of those scenarios, so it’s something I’m familiar with. Getting to do it at home certainly helps and there’s not a lot to it. We got to win a game and if we don’t, we go home.”
Mike Foltynewicz will take the hill in Atlanta for the Braves as they try and advance past St. Louis and 23 year-old ace Jake Flaherty. Game time is 5:02 p.m. make sure to check back for the verdict.

The Yankees are the only team that can sit and wait for their competition an edge they gained by being the first to win 3, an extra day of rest is always key in the playoffs. On the other foot momentum carries a huge edge as well, baseball enthusiasts have a lot to be grateful for, these next 3 games should be fun and nerve-racking for fans.
