Monk Rescued From A Cave In Thailand
Four days Phra Ajarn Manas, 46, was trapped inside of a cave. All because an unexpected out of season rainstorm rolled through. For many years now Manas makes his pilgrimage to the Phra Sai Ngam cave “to sit in contemplation.” (said a local rescue unit said in a Facebook post)
When the heavy rainstorm ended and the monk didn’t return home local residents raised the authorities. On Wednesday morning at 11:30, a team of 17 divers reached the monk. Manas was safely rescued from the cave after being trapped for four days.

A big thank you goes out to those brave divers who put their lives on the line to save another, they are heroes. Phra Ajarn Manas is alive today because of his rescue team.
