NBA Round-Up: Highlights And Recaps
Monday night six games were on the docket.
Let us start off our NBA round-up in Phoenix where the Suns were playing host to my squad the 76ers. The Sixers came in 5-0 and without arguably the best center in the game Joel Embidd.
The Suns took advantage of JoJo’s absence. Devin Booker led all scorers with 40 points and led his team to a 114-109 victory over the undefeated Sixers.
Al Horford led Philly with 32 and Tobias Harris had a double-double grabing 10 boards and dropped 24.
Pelicans Vs Nets
The Pelicans rolled into Brooklyn looking for their second win of the season. Kyrie and the rest of the Nets had other plans. New Orleans Brandon Ingram is emerging into a real legit talent. Last night he recorded a career high 40 points.
Kyrie not to be outdone on his home court scored 39 with 9 dimes, leading his Nets to a 135-125 victory.
Pistons Vs Wizards
Bradley Beal had 22 points leading a well balanced attack that saw six Wizards in double figures.
The 6′ 5″ Luke Kennard led the Pistons with 24 points but it wasn’t enough as his team went on to lose 99-115.
Rockets Vs Grizzlies
Last night Houston traveled to Memphis and tangled with the Grizzlies. James Harden led all scorers with 44 points leading his team to a 107-100 victory. 20-year-old Ja Morant led the Grizz with 23 points to go along with 5 boards and 6 assists.
Bucks Vs Timberwolves
Giannis Antetokounmpo marched into battle with Andrew Wiggins and the Greek Freak came out on top. The Bucks smashed the Wolves on their home-court by 28. Giannis had 34 points, 15 rebounds and 6 assists leading his team to a 134-106 victory. Wiggins had 25 to lead the T-Wolves.
Trailblazers Vs Warriors
Dolla D.A.M.E. and the Trailblazers headed into GoldenSate to take on a beat-up Warriors team. Golden State has begun a journey without their superstars and it started off with a big win. The Warriors defeated Portland 127-118. Lillard led by example dropping 39 for the Blazers. Eric Paschall scored 34 and grabbed 13 boards in the win.
