Last night NBA fans got to witness history in LA, Melo’s season debut, Golden States 3rd win and a 70 point second half.

Carmelo Anthony stepped on the floor for his 17th season for his 5th NBA team, and he was all smiles. The Pelicans, however, spoiled his debut. Jrue Holiday and the new-look Pelicans outlasted the Lillardless Trailblazers. Holiday recorded a double-double dishing out 10 dimes and dropping 22. CJ McCollum led the Blazers with 22. Melo played a decent game in his season debut he scored 10 points and grabbed 4 boards in 23 minutes of work.

Golden State ended their 7 game skid thanks to a strong performance from Alec Burks. Draymond Green was two points shy of a triple-double, he grabbed 10 boards, dished out 11 dimes, and scored 8. Burks led all scorers with 29 points to go along with 8 rebounds and 2 assists. Memphis was led by rookie stand out Ja Morant who scored 20 while dishing out 6 dimes and grabbing 2 boards.

The Kings hel off a 70 point second half run by the Suns to escape with the victory. Bogdan Bogdanovic was a huge reason for that, he hit 7 three balls. Bogdan led all scorers with 31, he also dished out 7 dimes and secured 4 boards. Devin Booker led the way for Phoenix with 30 points to go along with 8 assists and 5 rebounds.

In LA at The Staples Center history was made. Lebron James became the first player in NBA history to record a triple-double against all 30 teams. That’s one hell of an accomplishment. Anthony Davis led all scorers with 34 to go along with 7 boards and 4 dimes. Lebron’s line read like this 25 points, 11 rebounds
