Nepal is nestled in South East Asia between China to the north and India to the south. For decades the locals have had a tradition they call ‘Kumari Puja,’ where girls no older than 7 years of age participate in. The children get dressed up as goddesses from head to toe, make-up the whole nine. The tradition is believed to ward off back luck and diseases. A great idea indeed especially in this day of age we need all the help we can get, so practicing positive traditions like this and having good positive pure thoughts can go a long way.
