New Jersey Voters Will Decide On Marijuana Legalization

0 We have been waiting to hear an update on the status of the decision of cannabis in the state of New Jersey. And it’s up to New Jersey voters to make that decision. During a voting marathon that took place yesterday in Trenton. The Democrat-led Assembly passed the measure 49-24, with one abstention, while the Senate passed the question 24-16.
In November for 2020, the question will be placed in a ballot that asks voters if they’ll approve recreational cannabis for people 21 and older. The sales of marijuana products are subject to the states 6.625% sales tax.
