Week 5 kicked off in Seattle on Thursday night with a back and forth contest all the way up to the final seconds with Russel and the boys outlasting Goff and the Rams 30-29.
Sunday the action continued only two two teams remain undefeated the Patriots who easily got passed Washington 33-7, and the 49ers who play Cleveland tonight to end the week. Just this morning the Redskins fired head coach Jay Gruden after an 0-5 start to the season, Bill Callahan will step in as the interim coach for now.
The Eagles looked good against the Jets, (everyone this year has) sending them to 0-4 beating them 31-6. The Panthers prevailed in the meeting of jungle cats as they defeated the Jaguars 34-27, the Vikings beat up on the Giants 28-10.
Deshaun Watson had a career day throwing for 426 yards, rushing for another 47 and hurling 5 TD passes on way to a 53-32 victory over Matt Ryan and the Atlanta Falcons. The Saints are proving they can win without Drew Brees as they defeated the Bucs 31-24.
Buffalo Bills improved to 4-1 with a victory over Tennessee 14-7, Arizona kept the Bengals winless and captured their first win 26-23. Baltimore Ravens squeaked past Pittsburg 26-23, Denver handled the Chargers 20-13 for their first win as well.
The Packers looked like a Super Bowl contender against the Cowboys defeating them 34-24. Kansas City lost their first game of the season in surprising fashion to the Colts 19-13. Okland also surprised us beating a tough Chicago Bears team 24-21 bringing both of there records to 3-2.
