NFL Week 6 Scores And Highlights

Week 6 in the NFL is almost wrapped up the final game coming tonight when the Detroit Lions cross enemy lines to take on the Green Bay Packers one of the biggest rivalries in football. One team will leave with its second loss of the season Green Bay is 4-1 while the Lions sit at 2-1-1.

Teddy Bridgwater led the Saints to 13-6 victory over defensive-minded Jacksonville. Bridgwater in his Rookie campaign is 4-0, filling in for the injured Drew Brees. New Orleans may have a QB controversy on their hands when Brees is able to return.
Lamar Jackson is a force to be reckoned with. He was 21/33 for 236 yards through the air, Jackson was also the teams leading rusher going for 152 yards on 19 carries and a trip to the end zone, racking up 388 yards of total offense himself. The Bengals offense gained a total of 268 yards, loosing 23-17.
Cleveland looked better this week but it wasn’t enough against the Super Bowl contending Seattle Seahawks. The combo of Russel Wilson and Chris Carson was too much, they lead their squad to a 32-28 victory.
The Philadelphia Eagles strolled into some hostel territory visiting Minnesota for the first time since their Super Bowl victory in 2018. The Birds secondary
Deshaun Watson and the Texans did just enough to win in Kansa City, a battle between two great young QB’s. Watson was just a little better than Mahomes yesterday. Deshaun threw for 280 yards with a TD and 2 INT’s, and rushed 10 times for 42 yards and two scores. Mahomes threw for 273 yards with 3 TD’s and 1 INT, which wasn’t enough as the Texans won 31-24.
In the battle of the birds, Matt Ryan and Kyler Murray put on an air show. Both QB’s threw for over 330 yards with a combined 7 TD passes. The Arizona Cardinals held on to defeat the Atlanta Falcons 34-33.
San Fransisco remained undefeated, their defense was outstanding holding Jeff Goff to just 78 passing yards, and gave up only 109 yards on the ground. The 49ers won easily 20-7. The Denver Broncos got their second win of the season with a shutout victory over the Titans 16-0.
Sam Darnold the Jets QB returned to action after a month-long battle with mono and torched the Cowboys corners throwing for 338 yards and two TDs. The Jets D thwarted off a late comeback by Dallas and held on to win 24-22 for their first victory of the season, dropping the Cowboys to 3-3.
The final game on Sunday night we saw The Pittsburg Steelers head into Los Angeles to tangle with the Chargers. Pittsburg got up 24-0 heading into the 4th quarter before the Chargers came storming back and scored 17 unanswered, but there wasn’t enough time left, Pitt held on for the 24-17 victory brining both teams to 2-4 on the season.
