September 11, 2001, is one of those days that’s cemented in our minds, we can play it out like a movie when prompted. Still there’s an eerie feeling and a dark energy that surrounds that day.

At the hight of the war the U.S. had 100,000 boots down in the desert. Today about 2,500 remain, in September if all goes well all of our troops should be home in time for the holidays.
The magnificent “Freedom Tower” was constructed to help relieve some of that weight and help remember the souls we lost. Hopefully in October of this year our nation can finally get some closure.
On Wednesday, president Joe Biden announced the complete with draw of American forces in Afghanistan by September. If Biden fallows up on his word, civil war could break out as the Taliban would seek to take control of the government.
