PATRIOTS REMAIN UNDEFEATED BEATING THE GIANTS 35-14 ON THURSDAY NIGHT

The Patriots defense is arguably the best in football after 6 weeks into the regular season. Tom Brady the ageless wonder looks as good as ever and the offense keeps rolling. I would say it’s fair at this point to name New England the favorite to represent the AFC in the Super Bowl. They haven’t faced any of the other elite teams in the NFL yet, but have handled their completion with ease so far.
New York wasn’t able to do much against the stout Pats D, gaining only 52 yards on the ground Jon Hilliman was the leading rusher with 38 yards. Rookie QB Daniel Jones looked like one, throwing three picks, completing 15 of 31 passes for 161 yards and a TD. Golden Tate was the stand out performer for the G-men hauling in 6 receptions for 102 yards and a score.
New England’s defense kept Jones frustrated all game, keeping the Giants to under 215 yards of total offense, they picked him off three times and sacked the young QB once.
Tom Brady and the boys also showed up generating 478 yards of total
The next test for New England is October 21, when they roll into Jersey to take on the New York Jets in primetime on Monday night. Arizona rolls into town next Sunday, October 20 to tackle with the Giants at 1:00 p.m.
