Power EP 2: Angie’s Farewell

This episode took us for a ride and made us not want to blink. Chapter’s were closed while new one’s were opened, 90’s rock band Semisonic said it best “Every new beginning comes from some other beginning’s end.”
The opening scene we agonize with Tommy as we watch his baby girl go, a minor character who’s drip was serious. The late 60’s model muscle car was blue with a black interior, chromed out, whitewalls on the tires showing, super slick tail lights and a dope looking front end, with exhaust you could hear Tommy’s Mustang before you slaw him.

Ghost immediately goes to Jason and The Serbs offering a duffel bag full of loot, and an explanation. I won’t give away the details I will say Ghost is in deeeeeeeep. Riq is headed down the path Kanan paved for him, as he starts building an operation out of his dorm room.

Tasha and Ghost have so much history, children to think about and know each others secrets, for now the two have to play nice and put the divorce on hold. Tommy and Riq have a real conversation, he also has to test Keisha make sure she can handle the pressure.

Proctor is getting set-up by his ex wife through their daughter so she can plant a bug on her backpack so Saxe can try and get his dirt using a child as part of his plan.

The episode ends with an emotional and beautiful ceremony to celebrate Angela’s life. Mrs. Valdes’s killer also makes an unexpected appearance, no one is more shocked than Ghost who thought he had killed Tommy. Just when we think it’s over Dre who’s been in a safe house gets called in to testify against Alicia Jimenez. The writing, the action, everything is building towards an epic conclusion.
