Principal Resigns After White Students Reenact George Floyds Murder

Mead High School, Longmont, Colorado: I am so disturbed by what I see in the photo, I’m disturbed by anyone who thinks the value of human life is something to joke about, and I question who raised these racist kids. This is not okay by any stretch of the means, this is hate! Rachel Ayers was the principal at Mead High School she recently resigned after the racial incident went viral via Snapchat.

On one hand, I am proud Rachel stepped down on the other hand why did it take you nearly 3 weeks after the video was posted? Just my thoughts. The fact she did shows the nation’s people will not stand up for racism in school, but those kids should also be expelled or have to do 1,000 hours of community service in an inner-city environment. People need to be exposed to what they don’t understand so they will no longer judge what they don’t, or try to make a tasteless cruel joke out of it smh.

Colorado is not the only High School we saw white kids reenacting George Floyd’s murder it also happened in Arizona. Back in May kids thought it would be funny to pretend and act out Floyd’s murder, what runs through your brain that tells you this is a good idea. This teenage racism is disturbing.
