Professor With A Pacemaker Told She Can’t Work Remotely

The University Screwed Up Big Time! This Woman Provided Medical Documentation, She Wasn’t Teaching To Live Students, She Had To Double Mask Because Of The Extreme Risk She Faced Everyday Leaving The House To Speak To Any Empty Class Room.

Dr. Elizabeth Kostal teaches at South University in VA Beach. She’s a 48-year-old professor of nursing and health sciences and she’s the academic program director for the department of public health and health services. During the pandemic poor Elizabeth could barely leave the house due to the extreme risk factor of her catching the COVID.

Kostal deals with heart and lung conditions which enables her from getting vaccinated as well. Every time she’s tried an allergic reaction occurs causing the muscles surrounding the heart to become inflammed. During the pandemic Liz was able to work from the comfort of her home with no concern of catching the super flu that could end her life. When things began getting back to the new normal South University required all teachers to teach from campus to students at home. This presented a huge risk to Miss Kostal.

“I was literally undergoing an astronomical risk that could end my life to open up my laptop in my office to teach live, remote classes to teach my students who were at home,” Kostal said in an exclusive interview to NBC News. “It’s an incredulous position to be placed in by an employer.”

On Sunday Elizabeth’s Attorney’s filed a complaint with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Some of the complaint was shared with NBC before it was sent here’s what it said; The fact that the school refused to grant anyone the ability to work from home is a violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act, which prohibits discrimination against people with documented disabilities in multiple arenas, including employment.
