Thailand Educating Everyone On The Benefits Of Medical Marijuana

The cannabis prohibition is coming to an end around the globe slowly but surely.
Thailand is launching a new government website that will bring people up to speed about the benefits of medical marijuana.
Prime Minister Prayut Chano-o-cha and Dr. Ganja a giant green cannabis leaf who is the official mascot of Thailand’s green movement, were on hand to educate the people.
Thailand is a country in dire need of another source of revenue and a low-cost treatment option for people who need medication for all sorts of alignments.
Dr. Ganja may just be the answer residents are looking for. The government recently passed a law allowing residents to grow up to six plants of marijuana and sell their harvest to the government. Now with Dr. Ganja prescribing healthy doses of medical marijuana to patients, Thailand is headed in a new direction.
On Wednesday Prime Minister Prayut Chano-o-cha was on hand to distribute miniature versions of Dr. Ganja. Everyone in attendance was there to celebrate the launch of the new government website promoting the benefits of medical marijuana.
Prayut even sampled some of the products himself applying some CBD oil to the back of his ears as Dr. Ganja looked on.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Public Health Anutin Charnvirakul had this to say to the Bangkok post;
“These are historic first steps on the path towards allowing people to grow six cannabis trees in their homes. Cannabis is not an issue of politics, it is a product that can benefit people’s health. In the near future, families will be able to plant it in their back gardens like any other herb.”
