The Black Plague Has Infected two People In Mongolia
In Beijing’s Chaoyang District, two people living in Mongolia have been infected by the Black Plague.
The patients have received proper treatment, disease control measures and prevention methods have been implemented. This according to local media outlet Caixin.
The Chaoyang Hospital replaced all the chairs in the emergency room to help prevent further spread of the disease.
The patients were isolated quickly, the Chineses Center for Disease Control and Prevention reported. Health officials also investigated all the people who may have been exposed to them.
A Mongolian couple earlier this year after eating raw Marmot meat contracted the plague and passed away.
Pneumonic plague is the most serious form of the disease according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
