Trade Deal With China About To Be Set In Stone
This week Chinese Vice Premier Liu He is going to be in Washington to sign off on a “Phase One” trade deal.
The South China Morning Post quoted a source saying; “Washington has sent an invitation and Beijing has accepted it.”
Neither China or America have released any specific details about the agreement as of yet.
President Trump announced his plans back in October about the initial trade deal. Since then the U.S. and China have been negotiating back and forth to find a fair solution for both countries.
Robert Lighthizer the U.S. Trade Representative said that both economic superpowers would sign a pact the first week of January finalizing the “Phase One” trade deal.
Trump told reporters last week from his resort in Florida that he and Chinese President Xi Jinping eventually would have a signing ceremony for the agreement. Trump said the deal was finalized and is being translated.
