Two Journalists Arrested In Zimbabwe
Zimbabwe, Africa: Two days after World Press Freedom Day, two Zimbabwe journalists were arrested. A trend that’s getting out of hand. 53 journalists were arrested last year, for various offenses. We’re so lucky in America we have the ability to actually practice freedom of speech. The fact that journalism and speaking the truth is considered a crime in other countries is crazy to fathom. The Advocacy group Media Alliance of Zimbabwe is concerned about the frequent harassment and arrests of journalists, especially after World Press Freedom Day. Hopefully, in the near future, something can be done to keep journalists protected. Watch the video above for more details and give us your feedback in the comments section IMUer’s.
