Two Members Of India’s Delegation Test Positive For COVID At G7 Summit
The G7 Summit has not been able to take place for two years due to COVID restrictions. Fast forward we’re still dealing with that son of a gun all over the world. This year’s G7 is being hosted by Britain. The opportunity to once again start face-to-face diplomacy brings hope to nations all over the world we can unite, and stand tall.
It would almost seem too normal if COVID didn’t show up and let the world know she’s still here on a grand scale. Yes, we do have a way better grip on this white whale, but on Sunday night she showed up in Britain. Two members from India’s delegation tested positive.
The whole team from India will participate virtually in the three-day event. The positive tests have been confirmed by a British official, a 10-day quarantine is mandatory by law. India is getting crushed by a second wave and know, unfortunately, we can only pray no one else at the Summit will test positive.
What do you think IMUer’s do you think it will be safe in June when the “real real” G7 goes down? A meeting with this much importance can not be done virtually by everyone in participation. Check out the video for a closer look at what’s going on in Britain.
