Volusia County, Florida: One of the wildest stories I’ve seen in a minute is developing out of Florida. Two ‘tweeners’ 12 and 14 broke into a home and found guns. When cops arrived on scene the kids armed themselves with said guns including an assault rifle. The children fired at the officers on four separate occasions and eight deputies unload 60 rounds.
The girl seen in the video was hit in the stomach and chest, she’s in surgery. All of the officers involved have been placed on leave until things get sorted out. A bit of back story; The two children ran away from a United Methodist Children’s Home in Enterprise, FL. Before the boy escaped he whacked another kid with a stick, he’s also diabetic and needs his medicine. Everyone wants the girl to recover, and for the boy to get his medication.
