UK Fans Turned Passion Into Racist Online Abuse
UK, England: I get it soccer/futbol fans around the globe are super passionate about their home team and the sport in general. When you take that passion to a new level and turn on your team and begin to spew racist hate speech online then we have an issue. That’s exactly what happened in England on Sunday their match with Italy came down to penalty kicks. England wasn’t able to capitalize and the match ended in a 1-1 tie.
When three young African American players missed their kicks they all became instantly racially bullied by so-called fans. Marcus Rashford, 23, Jadon Sancho, 21, and Bukayo Saka, 19, were the targets of the abuse after they missed their penalty/spot-kicks.
How awful, ya’ll should be ashamed and embarrassed of yourself for treating kids that way. The fans who have expressed this hate should all be banned from future sporting events.
