Tokyo Japan: Team USA looked lethargic, lackluster, and just were not playing together. Yes the majority of Team USA just finished playing in the NBA playoffs so game 1 is a bit of a test run. Still, these men are professionals and need to tie some things together and get on the same page quite quickly.
Team France 83 – 76 Team USA
Team USA was led by Jrue Holidays 18, the next leading scorer only had 12 points. France scored 16 of the games’ last 18 points. Team USA definitely had a chance, they let this one slip away. Next up for Team USA is team Iran so the boys should be able to get back on the winning track.
